Season: The Farm Store is open for the season! We have strawberries and a wide array of our own produce and local products. Every year we try several new crops - come see what we have this year.
Farm Store Hours: Everyday - seven days a week 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM,
Products: Locally grown fruits, vegetables and other locally made foods.
Most common customer quote: All your produce is just gorgeous!
Services available: Flying by? We will gladly put together orders ahead of time. Contact us with an order, we’ll have it bagged up and ready to go.
Our motto: “ALWAYS fresh, EXCLUSIVELY local”.
You won’t find any Jersey tomatoes or Delaware melons at our stand. You will find fresh cut flowers
from our own fields, our own melons (gaining their own special following), Stephentown Sweet Corn, our own cauliflower, and
Washington County potatoes. You see, what we don’t grow ourselves, Dale buys from her consulting clients.
So she knows exactly what has been done to the crop, because she’s the one advising the growers on how to
grow the crops. Whether it’s doing a pre-sidedress nitrate test to reduce fertilizer usage on sweet corn,
or releasing trichogramma wasps for a biological control method for European corn borer,
Dale knows what is happening in the fields that grow the produce we sell.
We also carry Dale’s brother’s maple syrup, cheese, fresh eggs, homemade jam from
Beth’s Farm Kitchen in Columbia County NY, and honey from Berlin, NY.
We have scrumptious baked goods, such as homemade breads, chocolate chip cookies, and apricot bars.
Not only can you get superb produce and other foods, you can get the flowers to dress up your dinner
table as well. So if you want to find the best tasting, good-for-you food around, plan to come visit us.
Dale is known as the “Pumpkin lady” so be sure to check out our pumpkin selection this fall.
We will have all sizes, from “Jack-B-Little” miniature pumpkins (about 3” diameter) to some
of the giant pumpkins (100 lbs or so).
